Coming up for air . . . .

Some weeks are just like that . . . .busy!
Infact so super busy that you start to wonder how much more
can one fit into the space of a day.
So far this week our family has attended 6 gymnastics training sessions plus an all day competition, 4 swimming training sessions plus a 4 hour competition, horseriding, volleyball, football, teeball, running, wake boarding, sailing, drama practise, flute lesson, clarinet lesson, piano lesson and of course the trumpet lesson, countless management meetings, and lets also not forget school, music practises and that dreaded homework!
I love my kids and I love that they choose to be so involved in all that life offers, they have such fabulous opportunities on their doorstep . . .
I am just wondering though, when can I come up for a breath?

  2. As the morrow approaches I am preparing myself for the start of a new term - have that awful sick in my stomach feeling but know I will be fine once I actually get there!!!! Like you, Sister-in-between, I love that fact that my three are so happily involved in so many things but, by golly, it is SO good when the end of term rolls around again! And, we have a beach holiday to look forward to! Yeah!!!!!
Hang in there Sister-in-between!!! One day they will all have left home and we will miss them!!
    Much love, Big Sister!xo

  3. On days when I am wishing my kids could have a few MORE activities to be involved in and that I didn't have to wear quite so many different hats (Mum/school teacher/swimming teacher/piano teacher/nurse etc etc ...) I will re-read your post, see what it's like on the other side of the fence and BREATHE deeply :) Hang in there Sisters!! Luv Little Sister
